Mom's Morning Out Preschool

Mom’s Morning Out is now accepting applications for 2024-2025 school year

Mom’s Morning Out is a preschool for three and four year old children, providing an excellent foundation in educational/social experiences for their first and even second year.   Our program provides opportunities to learn about letters, numbers, concepts such as; over, under, on, etc., colors, shapes, to transition from one activity to another, follow directions, use manners, enhance listening skills, become a classroom helper, speak in front of a group, participate in creative/fine/gross motor activities.  Students also learn to increase socialization, to correctly solve disputes with other children, to take turns, play cooperatively and to become more independent. Our classroom is located in the Fonda Reformed Church at 19-21 Broadway in Fonda, New York.  We will be beginning our 46th year this fall.  Younger students must be 3 years of age on or before August 31st, 2024 and be fully toilet trained.

Mom’s Morning Out closely follows the Fonda-Fultonville Central School calendar with some exceptions.  Our first day of school will be Friday, September 6th, 2024 and will end on Friday, June 13, 2025.  We meet on Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 8:30 to 11:00 a.m.

Enrollment is filled on a first-come first-serve basis, with priority given to students who attended the previous year.  Applications are available by clicking the link below.
For any questions about the program please call Joann Phelps (518) 775-3454.

Mom’s Morning Out tuition is $120.00 per month and due on the first day of each month. A non-refundable deposit of $25.00 is due as a registration fee and must accompany the application.  Once a child is accepted, the deposit will secure a child’s name on our enrollment and will serve as part of the September tuition, with the balance due on September 6th.

Please include the “How to Tell if Your Child is Ready for Nursery School Checklist” with your application and check.  This checklist will give us a nice overview of your child’s readiness.  Please be as accurate as you can.  The checklist will also provide you with areas to work on with your child as they venture out into the world.  It is meant to be a tool for us to help them, not to make any child seem inferior, but to emphasize their strengths. A letter will notify you of your child’s acceptance followed by other pertinent information.

An Open House will be held on Thursday, September 5th from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. for accepted students and their families and is a great ice breaker for everyone.  Thank you for your interest.
